REMINDER FOR GERMANY
8:52 AM
here's something i learned in 2012 that would help me with my year in germany
NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU GOT TILL IT'S GONE this happens a lot, a lot, a lot to me. remember how i spend my last term in NIS. i used to hate it a lot, but last term i was honestly enjoying it (surprisingly) sometimes (and most of the time) you don't know what you got till it's gone
WAITING FOR YOUR CHANCE TO COME the same with NIS. i waited for 2 whole years, and finally i was enjoying my life. sometime you just have to wait a little longer for the right things to come. be patient, your time will come.
DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE it's useless and such a waste of time. remember when i was about to get vaccinated? i worried a lot but when the time came it hurted for like a second. and then it's all gone. what a time wasted worrying about the future.
EVERYONE HAS A STORY listen, listen to every one, be open-minded. mr. ross used to be just mr. ross to me until i knew his story. so listen, ask and listen before you judge people. and ask a lot of questions. that's how you learn what other people think (and that's how you know their stories. people don't just go around telling stories. you ask, or you never know.
EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT nobody's right, nobody's wrong. even though their opinions are completely opposite to each other. we're just different. as well as culture-wise, we're just different.
LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE
SMILE AND BE HAPPY if you're smiling and being happy, you'll make at least one or more people happy as well. so why not? and people will like being around you. being around happy people just make you happy unconsciously.
TRY EVERYTHING if you like it, you like it. if you don't at least you know what you don't like.
BE OPEN-MIDED
GO OUTSIDE
EXPERIENCE
MAKE FRIENDS
BE OPTIMISTIC it could have been worse
