i'm now struggling with packing. it's so hard to pack everything i want to take with me (and a lot of thai souvenirs and food) in one single luggage that cannot exceed 20 kilograms. ha. ha. ha. what a funny joke. 20 kilos is definitely not gonna happen. i now have 24-kg luggage and still have to stuff one more pair of shoes and thai skirt and chargers in it. i'm trying to make it less than 25 kilograms if possible.

i've already talked with Maria–my host sister–for a couple of times on skype and we talk constantly on facebook. we talk a lot (and maybe too much, haha) she's trying to teach me german, which is really hard but i guess i'm working my way through it. it seems like she arranges everything for me. she signed me up at a school and for art class (how lovely!) my new school's gonna have about 700 students, which is slightly bigger than my current school (hooreyyy) here's a snap of my new school in a nearby town (15 minutes away by train) called Bretten:

and yes, i'm taking a train to school :-)

and my host family is consisted of one older brother, two older sisters (one already has a 4 years old boy) mum and dad. my host dad has kind of a butcher shop with restaurant in it. i don't really know what it's like but guess i'll find out soon. and i'll get my own room on the first floor with my own bathroom and a bath tub in it! this is unexpectedly very nice and i really appreciate my host family for hosting me :) i'm quite a lucky girl i believe.

see you in a week, germany.
