it's only the second advent, and i always feel like christmas is tomorrow!

two more weeks, only two more weeks...

i've been baking quite often lately, this hirschhornsalz (ammonium carbonate) and pottasche (potassium carbonate) lebkuchen dough is awesome. you make it once and it can be left in a room temperature for 4 weeks, which means you can always bake when ever you want to.

and gingerbread man is my favourite form :)

the cookies are well spiced and crispy. they are so far my favourite kind of plaetzchen (after spekulatius maybe. those are irresistible)

other than baking, i also made some christmasy decoration to hang around the house. and i found this bird-star-snowflake mobile very adorable somehow.

that's all with the warm tone in-the-kitchen parts, now let's go outside and play with some snow!

so yeah, it snowed. i think it could be considered as the first snow of the year (since the actual first snow was not a lot and melted away pretty fast)

it was snowing quite heavily, and i was in winter wonderland. after only a few hours everything turned into white.

i went cheerfully outside, danced around, tasted some snow and took some photos. it was just so, so beautiful how snow was falling from the sky.

snow really did taste awesome! soft and melt-in-your-mouth dessert, and plus, it was free :)

though it didn't stay there very long and melted away by the end of next day, it was still the most wonderful first snow of winter.

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow :)
