christmas IV—the third advent, my birthday, another baking week and a christmas party

the first day of the week, 9th december, began with my 18th birthday!

my host mummy made these lovely muffins for me. mara, my best friend in school also baked my a chocolate cake which tasted amazing (and very sweet) so i kinda ate cake that whole day. i also got the best birthday present ever from zoe, self-made recipe book. i loooooooooved it!

school wasn't so long as a usual monday (to celebrate my birthday maybe? :D) so i got home a bit earlier than normal. we went out for a dinner at das verruecktes kartoffelnhaus and the food was amazing (and a bit too much...)

i baked and decorated some christmas cookies for my birthday/christmas party on saturday. they were the cutest cookies i had ever made.

the party was nice. five friends of mine were sleeping over and we stayed up until almost three in the morning. i got a pair of cat socks, an infinity necklace and an arrow ring from urban outfitter (you know me!!) and a german cd and dvd, and a pair of cat gloves!<3 (i got three cats for my birthday, my host dad also gave me a little cat doll called milkshake)

on sunday after my party, we went to nuernberg and visited this little christmas market in handwerkerhof near the main station. the place was so sweet, and there was this cool place where you could so how lebkuchen was made.

we ended our third advent cozily together in starbucks. i finally got to try lebkuchen latte (which wasn't so special) and orange mocha from my friend (which tasted a bit worse than my lebkuchen latte)
