it's sad to say this, but i was disappointed with strasbourg. maybe because i didn't do a lot of homework, where to go and what to do. or maybe my expectation was just too high.

the first thought that came into my mind when i arrived, was why is it so small? and where is the pretty train station? well, the train station was really beautiful once you look at it from the outside

my love for old books, would be pretty interesting if i understood a bit of french at all.

one of the reasons i was kinda disappointed with this town was because of the notre dame which looked just like a smaller version of kolner dom.

but since this was in france, not germany, the atmosphere around the church—filled with cafes and postcard rags—was ten times better than the one in cologne.

we had lunch—the famous tarte flambee—at flam's, a chained restaurant that served pretty much only this cream cheese, onion pizzas with different toppings at an affordable price. in my opinion, i thought the original cream cheese—onion—bacon one was the best.

amorino—my kind of paradise! the best ice cream ever that i first tried in paris. (and every time i ate it, it still reminded me of the most romantic, wonderful, charming city on earth) my favourite flavours combination was chocolate sorbet with banana sorbet. yes they were both sorbets and they tasted amazing together.

i walked to the le petit france a little too late, and it started to rain.

yes, it was quite lovely. but with a couple of construction sites and gloomy sky, it was quite hard to take beautiful pictures.

still i preferred photographing signs and such anyway :)
