travelling.
11:34 AMtravelling, travelling, here are what i learned from travelling.
i finished reading paper towns by john green shortly after my summer holiday began, and i came across this quote;
the pleasure isn't in doing the thing, the pleasure is in planning it.
—Margo Ruth Spiegel
after exactly two weeks of travelling around non-stop, i realised margo was right. so, so right.
the only thing is, she forgot to mention that looking back and see what you've done was also a pleasure.
just like the pleasure i'm feeling right now.
travelling wasn't really fun. wasn't as much fun, or pretty, or yummy, as i expected. but travelling, however, kept me occupied. kept me from worrying, kept me from internet, kept me from overthinking.
and travelling taught me what i've never learned in school. taught me what to do when i was lost, or the train was cancelled, or the time was limited.
travelling proved that it's possible, to be so tired but never wanted to stop moving. travelling proved my passion to keep on moving, to keep changing.
and travellng taught me comfort i could only feel at home, comfort i could only feel when i'm alone.
in less than 2 hours, i'm stepping out of my comfort zone, starting again a new journey.
yes, it's new.
yes, i'm scared.
but at the end, when i look back, it's worth it.
so worth it.
