it was overcast. but i liked the weather a lot. five minutes walk from the main station was a lake with little fountain. we were impressed at first sight.

the city wasn't so big. we sat and ate some pizza at a place called steak's and more, before kept on looking for the castle.


the walk the the castle wasn't long. we were stunned by its beauty.


but then we saw the construction site...it covered almost half of the castle.

we walked around the castle, took a lot of pictures. with the right angles, these pictures were still very pretty.



schwerin lies between hamburg and berlin. it was almost 1 hour train journey from hamburg main station.

the city didn't offer a lot of things to see. but it was a nice place to just chill out, take a walk, or go for a picnic.
