it doesn't seem to me that i've done much. but looking back to all the photos i've taken it looks like a lot.
though i might just be the kind of person who takes a lot of photos of random things on a regular basis...

first of all, i came home to see my 'brother and sister' who haven't changed a lot, except maybe their increasing weight...

we spent a lot of time together. silly the brother even sat on my lap and read with me.

then i was greeted by my mum's comfort food. might the be the most delicious food but it did feel like home to me.

we had some amazing vegetarian food together at my favourite place, for several times

and we ate a lot of other food as well, like the awesome sushis,

the best mango sticky rice,

my beloved purple sweet potatoes,

and these incredibly yummy (+unhealthy) deep-fried bananas

we went to temples at six in the morning because my dad wanted to take photos, the one was way suan dok

and this one was at chedi luang

following my months at the bakery in leeds, i was determined to make sourdough bread at home. but i failed at the very first step...i couldn't make the starter!
so i turned to raisin yeast water and had a play around the recipe. the first loaves were too moist and dense and not yummy.

then it became slightly better when i used 20% whole wheat flour (instead of 50% as a health freak) but my dad still would eat it

and then, last week before i left thailand again, i achieved this perfection. soft, airy and chewy loaf of brea. it wasn't actually 'perfect'; the crust wasn't crispy enough. but i was quite happy with the result.
and my dad ate it! and i guessed that was my goal really

then mum and dad left me to new zealand for three weeks, in which i spent time with my relatives in sukhothai. i learnt how to cook a dish with my grandma (one dish! that was a big change in me)

but the highlight of my stay was, again, eating. these coconut pancakes, one of my favourite thai desserts ever, was a dream.

i also went to the beach with my grandma, aunt and uncle and their kids. first time in like 5 years that i went to a beach in thailand. the seafood was incredible.

the street food was, as well. i especially love the grilled 'hak mum' banana (it's a different kind of banana which taste soon good when grilled)

when my parents came back i went back home and finished my recipe video for these thai cookies. the baking was easy, but the filming wasn't quite the same.

then i baked more healthy cakes and took more yummy photos, like these ombre chocolate cake with avocado frosting. the frosting with unbelievably good.

and my dad baked some perfect choux cream

i enjoyed going to fresh markets with my mum a lot

and i made a new friend, paula from germany who's doing an exchange year in thailand.
we baked together, went around town together and shared a loooooot of food

i took a ceramic class at 3.2.6. studio and made some distorted but lovely cups and bowls (the left photo was those of my teacher though)

they looked like this after the final baking

i hung out with good ol' friends
and had some mouthwatering banana roti at midnight

my dad went to do intanon a couple of times to take photos. it reminded me so much of my childhood because we used to go there every year even before we moved to chiang mai.
i guessed that was it. (though there was a lot more i was lazy to mention.)
and today my time in thailand ends. england is calling me back again.
so here comes another adventure, let it be a good one :)
