we didn't eat in the restaurant a lot because we were trying to keep our budget low (or at least i did) we eat baguettes and crepes for lunch and our dinner costed 30 euros/2 person
the first day we ate in some kind of cafe near louvre. we ordered tarte flambee with rockets and salmon, and lasagne. simply delicious :)
tokyo beaubourg, a little japanese restaurant in rue des lombards, the food was not that authentic but good enough. i ordered a 15 euros set that cam with miso soup (quite good), soured veggie salad, 16 bites of tempura sushi and 2 sticks of salmon grilled. the only thing i disliked about the food there was the japanese rice in sushi. normally it was supposed to be soured by japanese rice vinegar (well, i was in japan) but the rice there was sweet and nothing else. however, the overall was good and the price was such a bargain!
thai classic, a very authentic thai restaurant (and i was thai myself, so to say) it located a few blocks on the left of the japanese restaurant (we were gonna eat here but it was closed (every sunday) so we ended up at that japanese one) the whole kitchen was occupied by thais (be careful: a lot of other thai restaurants here were run by chinese and vietnamese. but the place mad me feel like i was eating in thailand, back in my hometown.
here's a map of the thai restaurant, and the japanese one was just 10 steps away
bon appetit!
